A Victorian Traveler's Book Case
7/8" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/8"
A necessity for all travelers over a far flung empire: the literature
of home. These five micro-miniature blank books are untitled and can be
whatever you can imagine. They're bound in printed versions of fine
bindings of the 19th and 18th century, in various heights and
thicknesses. The box itself is made of illustration board covered with
French hand-marbled paper. It had a gaudy label in the rear of the box,
and fasteners with a hook and loop closure adorned with a tiny leather
tassel.
